Straight ahead only
Regulatory signsSign no. 2.36OSR art. 24
What the sign says
Blue ground, straight arrow: the driver may turn neither right nor left. The only line allowed is straight through the junction.
The exam trap
A blue order is no more negotiable than a red ban: it commands positively, and ignoring it is just as much an offence.
Study topic
Signs and road markings
The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
