Junction with a road without priority
Priority signsSign no. 3.05OSR art. 39
What the sign says
Placed on the road that has priority, it announces a junction whose side arm — drawn thinner — does not. You go first.
The exam trap
Having priority is no excuse for keeping your foot down: if the other driver pulls out anyway, avoiding the crash is still on you.

The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
