End of encounter zone
Regulatory signsSign no. 2.59.6OSR art. 2a · art. 22b
What the sign says
The barred plate ends the zone regime: pedestrians lose their general priority over the whole area, and the 20 km/h limit falls away.
The exam trap
What resumes after the plate is the general local limit — 50 km/h in a built-up area, not the speed of the nearest road.

The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
