Alternating flashing light signal
Priority signsSign no. 3.20OSR art. 93
What the sign says
Two red lights flashing in turn at a level crossing. They mean stop: a train is coming, whatever the barriers are doing.
The exam trap
As long as they flash, crossing is forbidden — a second train may follow the first. You move only once the lights are out.

The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
