30 km/h zone
Regulatory signsSign no. 2.59.1OSR art. 22a
What the sign says
A whole neighbourhood limited to 30 km/h. Inside, priority from the right applies almost everywhere and pedestrian crossings are in principle removed.
The exam trap
With no marked crossing, pedestrians cross where they like — but without priority. The driver must still be able to stop in time.

Speed and distances
The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
