Regulatory signsSign no. 2.62OSR art. 33

What the sign says

The sign obliges riders, and anyone leading a horse, to use the path indicated. Other road users are not admitted.

The exam trap

Meeting a horse on the road means slowing right down and not sounding the horn: a startled animal shies towards the noise.

Study topic

Vulnerable road users

The signs are the official depictions by the Federal Roads Office, from the annexes of the Signalling Ordinance (SR 741.21): official works, unprotected under Art. 5 of the Copyright Act. The explanations, by contrast, are written from federal law — never taken from a third-party catalogue.
